Geode NX usa o núcleo Thoroughbred e é bastante similar ao Athlon XP-M que usa este núcleo. O Geode NX inclúe 256 KB de nivel 2 caché, e funciona sen ventilador a 1 GHz na versión NX1500@6W. A parte NX2001 funciona a 1,8 GHz, a parte NX1750 funciona a 1,4 GHz, and the NX1250 runs at 667MHz.</p>
<p>O Geode NX, coa súa forte FPU, é especialmente axeitado para dispositivos integrados con requisitos de rendemento gráfico, como quioscos de información e máquinas de xogos de casino, such as video slots.</p>
